Dallas Club CDMX is the purpose-built cruising club above Génova Street in Zona Rosa — and the one venue in the neighborhood with themed days during the week. Two floors of kinky spaces, a different crowd filtered in every night of the week, and a noon opening that makes it one of the few daytime options on the strip. Here's the honest local read: the layout, the theme calendar, the prices, and what a first-timer actually needs to know before walking up those stairs.
What Dallas Actually Is
No euphemisms: Dallas is a men's cruising and sex club. Not a bar with a dark room in the back — a venue built entirely around the premise, with the bar as the supporting act.
It opened around 2022 on the second floor of Génova Street 34, from the same people behind Sexto Piso, and it filled a real gap. Zona Rosa had bars, clubs, but nothing with this specific architecture: a purpose-built maze of rooms designed for people who came knowing exactly what they came for.
There is a bar. There is a small dance floor. Neither is the point, and Dallas doesn't pretend otherwise. That honesty is most of why it works.
The Layout Is the Whole Product
Two floors, and the build is what people actually talk about.
The upstairs is the real venue. It's enormous — far bigger than the staircase prepares you for — and it holds most of what you came for:
The mirror room — the exhibitionist space, for when you'd very much rather have an audience
The dark room
The cabinas zone — private booths, with glory holes
Plus the maze, the sling area and the jail-cell setup threaded between them
Downstairs you get the bar and a small dance floor. Neither is the point, but both are useful: they're where you arrive, get a drink, and read the room before you commit to going up.
Our Favorite Room
The projection room. Porn on the screen, seating in the dark, and a particular kind of energy that doesn't exist anywhere else in the venue — half the people watching the film, half watching each other, everyone deciding at their own pace. It's the least frantic space in the building and, for our money, the best-designed one. If you only have the patience for one room, make it this one.
The range across the whole floor is deliberate. It means Dallas accommodates the guy who wants total privacy and the guy who wants to be watched, in the same visit, without either having to negotiate for it. Most cruising spaces in the city give you one register. Dallas gives you six.
The aesthetic is gritty, not polished. If you're expecting the spa-like finish of a high-end sauna, adjust. This is a working room, and it looks like one.
Pick Your Night: the Theme Calendar
This is the part worth screenshotting, and the part that makes Dallas different from every other cruising room in the city.
A themed night at a cruising club isn't marketing. It's a filter. Most venues give you whoever happens to walk in. Dallas tells you in advance who's going to be in the room, which means you can choose the night that matches what you're actually looking for instead of paying to find out.

Wednesday and Thursday are functionally different venues. If you're a bear, or you're looking for one, Wednesday is your night and Thursday will be a waste of a hundred pesos. The reverse is equally true. Nobody tells travelers this, and it's the single most useful thing on this page.
Tuesday is a different kind of pick. It runs on Cruizer — show your profile at the door and you're in for fifty pesos, the cheapest entry in gay Zona Rosa. Download the app and set the profile up before you go; the door checks the profile, not the app icon.
Weekends cost more. Friday and Saturday run MX$150, which buys you the fullest room of the week and the latest closing. Worth it if you want the venue at full tilt; skip it if you'd rather have space.
Special events are ticketed separately. When Dallas runs a one-off, entry moves off the door price entirely — you buy a ticket in advance and it costs more than a normal night. Check their X before you go so the door isn't a surprise.
One practical note on all of it: the MX$50 rates are cash only. Turning up with just a card means paying double for no reason. There's an OXXO on the strip if you need one.

The Weekend
Friday and Saturday are the peak. No theme, no filter — the widest crowd of the week and the venue running at what it's actually capable of. Entry is MX$150.
It's also when Dallas stays open latest, until 1 AM. Every other night the doors close at 10 PM, which surprises people.
The weekend is the right pick if you want the room full. A weeknight theme is the right pick if you'd rather have space to move and a crowd you chose.
The Thing Nobody Mentions: It Opens at Noon
Dallas opens at 12:00 PM. Every day.
That's genuinely unusual and genuinely useful. Zona Rosa is a night neighborhood — most of the strip doesn't unlock until 8 or 9 PM. Dallas is one of the only places in the area where an afternoon is an option.
The practical read: an afternoon here is a completely different experience than a Saturday night. Fewer people, slower pace, less performance. Some people much prefer it. If your schedule doesn't work for a 1 AM night, or you simply don't want a crowd, a Tuesday at 4 PM is a real plan — and at fifty pesos, an extremely cheap one.
Who's There
Men only, 18 and over. No exceptions, and the door enforces it.
The room skews 20s and 30s, with a genuine mix of locals and travelers — more mixed than the saunas, which lean heavily local, and more local than the tourist-facing venues on Amberes Street.
The energy is voyeur-friendly. People watch. That's part of the architecture, not a bug, and it's the main thing to calibrate before you walk in.
First Time? Read This.
Nobody writes this part down, so here it is.
Before You Walk Up
- Bring cash. Enough for entry, drinks, and a locker if you use one. The promo rates depend on it.
- Travel light. You'll be moving through dark, tight spaces. Leave the bag, the jacket, and anything you'd hate to lose at the hotel.
- Phones stay away. No cameras, anywhere, ever. This is the one rule with no grey area, and it's enforced socially and by staff. Don't be the person who tests it.
- No is complete. A head shake, a hand, stepping back — all of it means no, and it ends there. The etiquette in these rooms is direct and non-verbal, which means reading the answer is entirely on you. Nobody owes you a conversation about it.
- Bring your own protection and use it. Assume nothing about what's stocked.
- Start downstairs. The bar and dance floor exist precisely so you can arrive, get a drink, and read the room before going up. Use them — then take the stairs when you're ready.
- It's fine to walk out. Plenty of people pay the hundred pesos, do a lap, decide it's not their night, and leave. That's a normal outcome, not a failure.

How we'd build it: Dallas early — an afternoon or right after work, when it's calm and cheap — then dinner, then the strip. Running it the other way around, at 12:30 AM after four drinks, is the version most people try and the version that works least. Full routes are in the gay bars directory.

Should You Go?
Yes, if
You want a themed night that actually filters the room to your type, you want a purpose-built cruising venue with real range, or you want a daytime option that nowhere else in the neighborhood offers.
No, if
You want polish, you want a bar with a dark room rather than the reverse, or you're not comfortable in a space where watching is part of the design.
Dallas is exactly what it says it is. In this neighborhood, that's rarer than it should be.
