This will be our third time at a Küirfest show during Pride, and at this point we don’t think there’s a better way to kick off the week. If you want to understand what drag in Mexico City looks like at its highest level, Küirfest is the answer. These are the people who actually bring premier international drag talent to this city — not as a one-off, but consistently, with intention, and with production that matches the caliber of the performers on stage.

What Küirfest Does That Nobody Else Does

We’ve been to enough drag shows in this city to know the difference. Küirfest is in a different league. The organization is on another level, the venue choices are always interesting, and the lineup is never just filler. Every act earns their spot. We still talk about the Valentine’s edition — seeing Roxxxy Andrews and Catriona in the same room was one of those nights you don’t forget. And the Pride 2025 show? Gala Varo, fresh off Mayhem, doing Lady Gaga and absolutely owning it. A Juan Gabriel interpretation that had the whole room on their feet. And an Adele that took the palms, no contest. That’s the Küirfest standard.

El Küirpleaños: The Pride Edition

For Pride 2026 they are pulling out everything. Crystal Methyd is finally back in Mexico — and that alone would be enough — but they are also bringing Kylie Sonique Love, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, making her Mexico City debut alongside a cast of over 10 drag artists including CPHER, Paris Bang Bang, Luna Lansman, Perra Cotorra, Ninfa Woods, Mariemma, Alanna Albiter, and Bichota Mami. This is not a show. This is a celebration.

A New Venue — and We’re Curious.

We were used to seeing Küirfest at Pinche Gringo, which worked well for the format. This time they move to La Vieja Habana in San Cosme, Cuauhtémoc — a different energy, a different neighborhood, and honestly we’re excited to see how the space transforms for a show of this scale. Küirfest has earned our trust on production, so we’re not worried. Just curious.

Esta será nuestra tercera vez en un show del Küirfest durante el Pride, y a estas alturas ya lo tenemos claro: no hay mejor forma de arrancar la semana. Si quieres entender cómo se ve el drag en la Ciudad de México a su máximo nivel, Küirfest es la respuesta. Son los únicos que traen talento drag internacional premier a esta ciudad de forma consistente, con intención, y con una producción que está a la altura de los artistas que suben al escenario.

Lo Que Hace el Küirfest Que Nadie Más Hace

Hemos visto suficientes shows de drag en esta ciudad como para saber la diferencia. El Küirfest juega en otra liga. La organización es impecable, los venues siempre tienen algo especial, y el lineup nunca es relleno. Cada acto se gana su lugar. Todavía hablamos de la edición de San Valentín — ver a Roxxxy Andrews y Catriona en el mismo recinto fue una de esas noches que no se olvidan. ¿Y el Pride 2025? Gala Varo, recién salida de Mayhem, interpretando a Lady Gaga y siendo la dueña absoluta del escenario. Un Juan Gabriel que puso a todo el lugar de pie. Y una Adele que se llevó las palmas sin discusión. Eso es el estándar Küirfest.

Nuevo Venue — y Tenemos Curiosidad

Estábamos acostumbrados al Küirfest en el Pinche Gringo, que funcionaba muy bien para el formato. Esta vez se mudan a La Vieja Habana en San Cosme, Cuauhtémoc — otra energía, otro barrio, y honestamente tenemos ganas de ver cómo transforma el espacio para un show de esta escala. El Küirfest ya se ganó nuestra confianza en producción, así que no hay preocupación. Solo curiosidad.
