The guide was helpful, but the MAPS — that's what you're really paying for. I came with a group of friends who had been to Mexico City before. We wanted to go out on a Wednesday and none of the places they visited last time were still open. We used the maps and found everything without asking anyone.
I had a 48-hour layover in Mexico City and decided to have Enrique join me for the nightlife tour in Downtown. He took me to three gay bars, each with a totally different vibe. I had a great time with him, and he helped me navigate these spots where English isn't spoken at all. When I come back to Mexico City, I'll definitely be having another tour with him.
I love how detailed and up-to-date the Gay Mexico City Guide is. The cash-only warnings were incredibly helpful.
Worth every penny!! There's no other way I could have found any of the cruising clubs or gay saunas without the guide. Many of these are underground and don't advertise in any way.
The Gay Mexico City Guide is a game changer! It's packed with tips from locals and covers everything from bars to quirky spots. The Google Maps listings make navigating all across the city so easy.
This guide is a must-have for any gay traveler visiting Mexico City. All the recommendations felt so unique and authentic... IDK why there isn't something like this in every city.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed all of your recommendations, and we're not even gay! We got to this website for the cocktail bars list, but we really enjoyed the restaurant section — the best food we've ever had in our lives. The maps saved us!
I was blown away by the quality of this guide. The recommendations were excellent, and the Google Maps listings made exploring easy. Five stars!
I first bought the Gay Mexico City Guide back in 2022, and this time I came back for Pride in June, I still had access to all of the maps on my phone, and a lot of new places were added. My trip actually felt very different from the first time I came.
All good. Wish that the hotel section had more hotel recommendations — most of the options were youth hostels — but the nightlife itinerary is something you're gonna use every single night.
The guide was helpful, but the MAPS — that's what you're really paying for. I came with a group of friends who had been to Mexico City before. We wanted to go out on a Wednesday and none of the places they visited last time were still open. The maps had everything current.
Five stars! Thank you Gay Mexico City team.
